Program notes:
The piece draws inspiration from fragment 47 by Sappho, in which Eros is described as a sudden, destabilizing force, capable of deeply unsettling. This image becomes a musical principle: rhythm takes shape as a physical, irregular impulse that introduces a constant perceptual instability. The instruments articulate this energy through timbral and directional deviations, shaping a mobile
sound marked by shifts and tensions. The musical discourse unfolds through discontinuity: not a linear motion, but an articulation of energy over time. Listening is guided by micro-variations and internal slippages within the sound, through which the formal profile of the piece gradually emerges.
